Do you offer an electrician service in Sittingbourne?

What electrical work do you do?
We specialise in domestic electrical work, including EV charger installation, house rewiring, additional sockets, external lighting and fuse board or consumer unit upgrades. If you are not sure whether we cover a job, call or message us and ask.
How do I know if my house needs rewiring?
Common signs are scorched or warm sockets, a burning smell, fuses that often blow or trip, lights that flicker or dim, and old round pin sockets or cloth-covered cables. An inspection and test of the installation will show what condition the wiring is in.
Can you install an electric car charger at home?
Yes. We install home EV charge points. We look at where you park, where the consumer unit is and whether your supply can take the extra load, then fit the charge point on its own protected circuit.
Do I need a new consumer unit for an EV charger?
Not always. It depends on the age and condition of your existing consumer unit, whether it has the right protection and whether there is space for a new circuit. We check this before quoting.
How do I know if my fuse box needs upgrading?
Rewireable fuses, no RCD protection, a cracked or damaged casing or a unit that runs hot are all reasons to have it looked at. We can check your board and tell you whether an upgrade is worthwhile.
Can you add extra sockets to a room?
Yes. We add single and double sockets, including USB sockets, to kitchens, bedrooms, offices and garages. We check the circuit can take the extra load first and test every socket we fit.
Is outdoor lighting safe to install?
It is when the fittings and cable are made for outdoor use and are connected properly. We fit weather-rated lights and wire them in on a protected circuit.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Sittingbourne and work within about 20 miles, including Faversham, Sheerness, Minster-on-Sea, Rainham, Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester, Maidstone, Whitstable and Canterbury, and the villages in between.
